Dr. Ghazi’s main concern is for you the patient and he will work tirelessly to bring you outstanding, individualized results that are delivered in a manner of comfort, safety and with a warm smile. His medical interests range from cosmetic surgery for the breasts, body and face as well as breast and body reconstruction. Dr. Bahair Ghazi in Atlanta During his time with the Emory University Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Division Dr. Ghazi was fortunate to have worked and trained under some of the most well-known masters in the fields of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, allowing him to offer you the “best of the newest techniques” as well as traditional approaches from those who helped define the modern field of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Ghazi has a long history of leadership and research and has authored numerous publications in Plastic Surgery journals and textbooks and has presented at many scientific meetings on subjects dealing with cosmetic breast surgery, cancer surgery of the breasts and reconstruction of the breasts after mastectomy, as well as reconstruction of the chest, and lower extremity. Recently Dr. Ghazi was part of an award winning research team demonstrating the efficacy of a funnel device in reducing bacterial contamination during Breast Augmentation. Recently, Dr. Ghazi received an award for best surgical innovation of 2014. Dr. Ghazi is a founder of AcCellerate Skin Rejuvenation System, which uses patient stem cells to improve the healing process after a procedure.

Dr. John Symbas

Dr. John D. Symbas graduated magna cum laude from the School of Medicine at Emory University where he also finished his undergraduate program. Dr. Symbas completed his residency at Emory University through the School of Medicine in both plastic surgery and in general surgery. He completed an oculoplastic and cosmetic fellowship at Paces Plastic Surgery in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Symbas is licensed in the state of Georgia and became board certified in 2012 by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. John Symbas Dr. Symbas is licensed in the state of Georgia and became board certified in 2012 by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Symbas joined the plastic surgery team at the Atlanta Plastic and Reconstructive Specialists center in October 2015. Prior to that he was an instrumental member of the team at Marietta Plastic Surgery for almost 5 years. Dr. John Symbas has also written and presented numerous publications on topics such as body contouring and facial plastic surgery, including An Outcome Analysis of Brachioplasty Techniques Following Massive Weight Loss and Facelift Complications and the Risks of Venous Thrombosis: A Single Center’s Experience. Additionally, Dr. Symbas was a decorated athlete in college at Emory University. He was named to the coveted GTE Academic All-American First Team in soccer and captained the team his senior year.
